Join us for a transformative experience featuring a sneak peek screening of See Memory—a breathtaking, hand-painted documentary that delves into the science and emotional depth of memory—ahead of its PBS premiere in May for Mental Health Awareness Month.
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore how memory shapes our lives and how mindfulness practices like iRest can support healing and resilience.

More About the Panelists:

Charan Ranganath is a Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience and director of the Dynamic Memory Lab at the University of California at Davis.
For over 25 years, Dr. Ranganath has studied the mechanisms in the brain that allow us to remember past events, using brain imaging techniques, computational modeling and studies of patients with memory disorders. He has been recognized with a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Vannevar Bush Faculty Fellowship.
He lives in Davis, California. Outside of neuroscience, Dr. Ranganath is also a songwriter and guitarist with a number of recording credits, including a song on a feature film soundtrack.

Richard C. Miller, PhD, C-IAYT, ERYT-500 is the Founder, Chairman, and Executive Director of iRest Institute, Co-Founder of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and Founding Member and past President of the Institute for Spirituality and Psychology.
He is a clinical psychologist, author, researcher, yogic scholar, and spiritual teacher who, for over 50 years, has devoted his life to integrating western psychology and neuroscience with the ancient nondual wisdom teachings of Yoga, Tantra, Advaita, Taoism, and Buddhism.
Author of Yoga Nidra, The iRest Meditative Practice for Deep Relaxation and Healing, iRest Meditation: Restorative Practices for Health, Healing and Well Being, The iRest Program for Healing PTSD, and Yoga Nidra: The Meditative Heart of Yoga, Richard serves as a research consultant studying the nondual somatic-based meditation protocol he’s developed —iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation—researching its efficacy on health, healing, and well-being with diverse populations and issues.

Viviane Silvera has exhibited her work for 22 years, most recently at Art Basel Miami, Berlin Art Week, the Edward Hopper House, the Albright Knox, Dahesh, and Masur Museums, and El Museo de la Ciudad - Mexico.
Her videos have been installed at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, MGM National Harbor, Sarah Lawrence College, University of Mary Washington, The Cube Art Project with Union Bank, 4Culture Gallery in Pioneer Square, Seattle, Altspace VR, Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre, and Davidson College, among other venues. Her award-winning, hand painted film SEE MEMORY premiered at the Imagine Science Film Festival, is distributed through New Day Films and will make its PBS Broadcast Premiere in 2025. Her hand-painted videos have been licensed by McCann Advertising and installed in hotels, universities, and museums.
She earned a BS from Tufts University in Political Science and Psychology and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She was born in Hong Kong and raised in Brazil. Presently based in New York City with her family. She is Founder and Director of On Art.
