CE Guidelines and Registration

IMPORTANT: Please read all iRest Institute Continuing Education (CE) guidelines below before beginning CE registration.

YA and IAYT CE Credits

*Please do NOT complete CE registration if you are only needing CE credits for Yoga Alliance (YA) or the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). iRest Institute offers CE credits for YA and IAYT at no additional charge and no pre-registration is necessary. A certificate of attendance will be offered to all participants post-event that can be used to submit to YA and IAYT for CE credits.

Continuing Education Registration and Fees

CE credits are only available for eligible events. Eligibility is listed for each event on the event's web page, but at this time is usually limited to our iRest Level 1 and Level 2 Trainings. 

Payment links for CE credits are made available on the Participant Resources Page available after Event Registration is complete.

Registration and payment must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event in order to receive one CE Certificate for your primary license (LCSW, MFT).

The fee to register for CE credits is $150.

Additional certificates will incur a fee of $25 per additional certificate.

Eligible Professional Credentials

Professional Continuing Education (CE) credits, when offered, are available through NASW-Ohio for licensed LCSW, LPCC, LEP, and LMFT's.

It is up to each participant to confirm with their state governing bodies if the CE credits of any course meet their state licensure requirements.

Attendance and Completion Requirements

Attendees requesting professional CE credits must attend all sessions to receive CE. At in-person events, participants are responsible for signing in and out of the program as instructed each day. Participants are equally responsible for attending all sessions in full during livestream trainings, where attendance is closely monitored and tracked. iRest Institute is not responsible for missed hours and cannot grant partial credit.

In addition, a CE Evaluation must be completed prior to receiving a CE Certificate. The link to complete the evaluation will be sent via email post-event.

Certificate Details

Completed attendees will receive a unique CE certificate listing the course details and number of CE credits that can be submitted to their credentialing organization.

Unique Events

For the Online iRest Level 1 Training through Yoga International

The link to register and pay for CE credits for the self-paced Online iRest Yoga Training through Yoga International is available within the introductory materials to the course available after course registration. While you may register and pay for CE credits in advance of your completion, you will not be able to receive your CE Certificate until you've completed the course and the CE evaluation you will receive from our staff. Please notify us within two weeks of having completed this self-paced course.

Reminder: Attendees requesting professional CE are responsible for contacting their home state licensing organizations to see if there is reciprocity. iRest Institute is not responsible for the decision of licensing boards.

Specific events have been approved by the NASW Ohio Chapter for social work, counselor, and marriage and family therapist continuing education. The NASW Ohio Chapter is approved by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board as a continuing education approver. Participants outside of Ohio should confirm with their state licensing board that the continuing education credits meet their state’s licensure requirements.
